In 1965, Fred DeLuca graduated high school in Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA. Like many of his colleagues, Fred dreamed of completing a college. With all his love for work, his competitive spirit and confidence, Fred worked for $ 1.25 a hour at a blacksmith, which was not enough to finance his studies.
